Who is the BioBusiness Masterclass for?

The BioBusiness Masterclass is for ambitious life science entrepreneurs, start-up founders, scientists, and business developers who want to successfully build and grow innovative life science ventures. The program develops the business, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills needed to take a venture to the next level. For the 2027 edition, we have expanded the curriculum with advanced venture-building and leadership topics. The BioBusiness Masterclass combines specialised life science expertise with practical venture building. Every workshop, coaching session, and assignment is tailored to the challenges of life science innovation and applied directly to your own venture. Throughout the program, you’ll receive personalised feedback from 40+ experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts while developing the leadership, business, and entrepreneurial skills needed to successfully take your venture to the next level.

What language is the program taught in?

The general program of the BioBusiness Masterclass is in English. The personal development peer groups will be formed in English or Dutch. 

Where does the BioBusiness Masterclass take place?

Hotel de Baak Seaside, Noordwijk and Landgoed de Horst, Driebergen, the Netherlands. 

Can I still join the 2026 edition?

Unfortunately, the 2026 BioBusiness Masterclass has already concluded. In addition, it is not possible to join after the start or attend individual modules separately. The next edition begins in January 2027. We encourage you to apply early, as places are limited.

Can I apply for financial support to participate in the 2027 edition?

The BioBusiness Masterclass is already more than 75% funded by an alumnus of the 2004 edition, reflecting a strong commitment to supporting the next generation of life science entrepreneurs.

Applicants who register before 15 October 2026 receive an Early Application discount of €3,000 on their participation fee.

How much time does the program require?

The program consists of five modules of 2.5 days, spread over approximately five months. Between the modules, participants complete practical assignments and continue developing their own venture with feedback from peers, mentors, and industry experts. This is an intensive course and the structure allows participants to immediately apply what they learn to their own venture.

Can I participate if I am based outside the Netherlands?

Yes. The BioBusiness Masterclass welcomes participants outside the Netherlands. The program is conducted entirely in English, making it accessible to an international audience. Participants should be able to attend all five in-person modules in the Netherlands.
