RESPECTfarms will build the world’s first cultivated meat farm, producing meat from cells, not animals. The concept pioneers the way towards a climate-neutral, robust, automated and fully plug and play system for the farm, in which meat production with smart technologies becomes possible, from renewable sources. The company acts as a system integrator between farming organizations and practices and the biotechnology sector, by bringing together the suitable technologies, combing them and making them accessible to conventional food producers.  

The business concept aims at developing a standardized blueprint for roll-out, replicating the model a thousand times at different locations worldwide. Starting from 2025 until 2028, the team will build, optimize and commercialize a first farm, starting in the Netherlands. It is the first time that a company together with the world-leaders of cultivated meat focuses a scale-out approach of cultivated meat at a farm.
